Youth Leadership Council (youth development)

  • Peer to peer rap session
    The Federation of Families sponsors a rap session of teens. These teen may gather to discuss hot topics ad concerns they may have about all matters.  They share ideas, fun activities and other times.  These teens are the core group of the leadership council and provide input into the activities of the chapter.  All teens and youth whose families are members of the chapter may be part of a Peer to Peer.  Although an adult guardian may be present at the meetings;  this person is there only to facilitate smooth operations and is not In charge of the group.  The contracted youth advocate coordinates the locations, meeting presenters and other logistics of the peer to peer rap session.
